Mathematical equations

Area of a circle: A=2{pi}R

Area of a rectangle: A=L*W where W and L are Width and Length, respectively.

Area of a square: A=W^2 where W is the length of one side.

Percent Yeild: $Y_%= {Y_observed}/{Y_expected}$

Percent taken up in a scale (linear scale): Percent~taken~up = { {object~size} / ( {full~size} / {scale~size}) } * {scale~size}

This is for use when you are creating scale models. For example, to calculate how big the earth is if 1 football field is 3AU, you would calculate this:

$earth_scale = { ( 448794000km ) / ( {448794000km} / {109.7m} ) } * 109.7m$

Chemical Equations

Photosynthesis (Unbalanced): $CO_2 + {H_2}O {right} {C_6}{H_12}{O_6} + {O_2}$

Photosynthesis (Balanced): $6{CO_2} + 6{H_2}O {right} {C_6}{H_12}{O_6} + 6{O_2}$
